Epiphany

Way behind schedule. But I guess I am succumbing to the temptations of having a boss who is in Cincinnati, co-workers that are in other states and who are working on other things, annd well, to come in late. Also, the project that I am working on, the guy in charge comes in later as well. So in a way I am adapting to his schedule.

Last night, as I was leaving the building after work, descending the large open staircase to the first floor of the entry-lobby, which has a two-story wall of windows to the north, someone said to someone else “have you noticed that it’s still light out?” I hadn’t; her colleague hadn’t either. So I am happy that she mentioned it so that then I could appreciate it more. As an old sage said once–“it gets lighter, but then it also gets colder.” Which is what is happening now.
